If you love Tails Wallet, then consider making a donation so it can be further improved. Wallet
development is funded by community donations, volunteers, and through partnerships. Another way to support
the wallet is to use the "Exchange" button inside the application. There is no extra cost to you to exchange
coins with the built-in interface and a small part of the exchange fee goes towards wallet development. Here

No, never. Tails Wallet is decentralized. We never ask or collect personal information and you run the wallet from your own computer by simply downloading it. There is no need for a centralized service provider with an account system. No account is necessary for any of the wallet features including exchange coins from one coin to another.
The wallet is securely stored on your own computer and it is protected with strong and proven AES 256 encryption with key stretching. Your wallet data is never stored outside of your own computer. You always have full control.

This means that your IP address is protected from surveillance from third parties such as your ISP. This prevents your ISP, node operators, etc, from associating your IP address with your wallets. If you value privacy, then you should only use a wallet with built-in Tor support.
